About Our Bakery
As a family that has had to navigate multiple food allergies and sensitivities, we quickly became frustrated with the food industry and the lack of simple and quality ingredients found in even basic foods and pantry staples.
The more we researched, the more frustrated we became. Personally, I really seemed to struggle with wheat. I tried everything I could think of. I started probiotics; made my own bread; I even started making sourdough, but the result was always the same. After the birth of my son, I started milling my own wheat and making bread from that. WHAT A DIFFERENCE. I was shocked that all my issues with bread/wheat had disappeared. I was losing weight, I had more energy, my mind was more clear, and I finally felt like my body was being nourished.
I didn’t expect all of these benefits; but the more I researched it, the more I found these “side effects” were common with fresh-milled wheat products. There are SO many benefits to fresh milled flour, and I would encourage anyone who feels they struggle with wheat or gluten to try this bread before giving up on bread for good.
